Abstract

ABSTRAK Hiperkolesterolemia merupakan salah satu kelainan kadar lemak dalam darah berupa peningkatan kadar kolesterol total di dalam darah. Kelainan kadar lemak bukanlah suatu penyakit, tetapi merupakan faktor risiko bagi penyakit lainnya, terutama penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah. Peningkatan kadar kolesterol total dalam darah dapat dikendalikan dengan terapi farmakologi dan nonfarmakologi. Agar penderita dapat patuh menjalani terapi diet yang terus menerus dibutuhkan peran serta keluarga untuk membantu penderita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kepatuhan pasien hiperkolesterol dalam menjalani diet hiperkolesterol di Puskesmas Kedungkandang, Kota Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dan didapatkan sampel sejumlah 81 orang. Variabel yang diukur pada penelitian ini adalah dukungan keluarga dan tingkat kepatuhan pasien hiperkolesterol dalam menjalani diet hiperkolesterol. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah korelasi Spearman Rank dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil analisa bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kepatuhan pasien hiperkolesterol terhadap diet (p=0,000), dengan kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,662. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pasien dengan hiperkolesterol sangat membutuhkan dukungan dari keluarga untuk meningkatkan semangat dan motivasi pasien hiperkolesterol dalam menjalani terapi diet. Abnormalities fat content is not an illness, but simply risk factor for other diseases, especially heart and blood vessels disease. Elevated levels of total cholesterol in the blood can be controlled with nonfarmacology therapy and pharmacology. The role of families is needed to improve patient compliance to diet. Research aim was to understand the relationship between family support with compliance level of patients hypercholesterol in diet in Puskesmas Kedungkandang, Malang City. The research was observational with approach cross sectional. Sampling technique was purposive sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria and was got 81 samples. Variables was measured in this research were family support and compliance level of hypercholesterol patients in diet. Statistical tests used spearman correlation rank with confidence interval 95 %. The results of bivariate analysis showed significant correlation family support with patients hypercholesterol compliance on diet (p=0,000);r=0,662. From this research it can be concluded that patients with hypercholesterol very needs support from the family to increase patient morale and motivation in diet.
