Abstract
ABSTRAK
Infeksi nosokomial dapat diartikan sebagai infeksi yang diperoleh atau terjadi di rumah sakit. Infeksi nosokomial salah satu penyebab meningkatnya angka kesakitan dan angka kematian di rumah sakit, dimana perawat mempunyai andil besar dalam proses terjadinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan perawat tentang infeksi nosokomial dengan pelaksanaan pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi di Ruang Isolasi RSUD Caruban Kabupaten Madiun.
Desain penelitian adalah desain korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan 27 Januari - 10 Maret 2018. Populasinya seluruh perawat di Ruang Isolasi sebanyak 20 responden dan jumlah sampel 20 responden. Teknik samplingnya adalah Total Sampling. Variabel penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan perawat tentang infeksi nosokomial dan pelaksanaan pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Pengolahan data menggunakan Uji Statistic Spearmen Rank dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan hampir setengahnya (40%) responden memiliki pengetahuan tentang infeksi nosokomial baik. Dan hampir setengahnya (40%) responden melaksanakan pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi baik. Berdasarkan uji Spearman Rank didapatkan ρ value = 0,000 dan r = 0,894, hal ini berarti mempunyai tingkat hubungan sangat kuat. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan perawat tentang infeksi nosokomial dengan pelaksanaan pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi di Ruang Isolasi RSUD Caruban Kabupaten Madiun.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan bagi perawat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuannya dengan mengikuti pelatihan pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi.

ABSTRACT
Nosocomial infection can be interpreted as an infection acquired or occurred in the hospital. Nosocomial infection is one of the causes of increasing morbidity and mortality rates in hospitals, where nurses have a large share in the process of occurrence. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of nurse knowledge about nosocomial infection with the implementation of infection prevention and control in the Isolation Room of Caruban Regional Hospital of Madiun Regency.
The research design is correlational design with Cross Sectional approach. The study was conducted from January 27 to March 10, 2018. The population of all nurses in the Isolation Room were 20 respondents and the sample size was 20 respondents. The sampling technique is Total Sampling. The variables of this study are nurse knowledge about nosocomial infection and infection prevention and control implementation. Instruments using questionnaires and observations. Data processing using Spearmen Rank Statistical Test with significance level of 0.05.
The results showed almost half (40%) of the respondents had knowledge of nosocomial infection either. And almost half (40%) of respondents carry out infection prevention and control either. Based on Spearman Rank test obtained ρ value = 0,000 and r = 0.894, this means having a very strong relationship level. So it can be concluded that there is a nurse knowledge relation about nosocomial infection with the implementation of infection prevention and control in Isolation Room of Caruban Hospital of Madiun Regency.
Based on the results of research is suggested for nurses to improve their knowledge by following infection prevention and control training.
