Abstract
ABSTRAK Imunisasi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh dan pemberantasan penyakit menular. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini terdapat program pemberian imunisasi dasar bagi bayi dan balita secara lengkap. Namun program ini masih mengalami hambatan yaitu penolakan dari orangtua. Penolakan orangtua dalam pemberian imunisasi ini dikarenakan anggapan yang salah yang berkembang di masyarakat tentang imunisasi, tingkat pengetahuan yang rendah, dan kesadaran yang kurang terhadap imunisasi. Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui Gambaran Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang Imunisasi Dasar pada Bayi di Polindes Sumberejo Kecamatan Poncokusumo Kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 9 bulan-2 tahun Polindes Sumberejo Kecamatan Poncokusumo Kabupaten Malang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 26 responden. Variabel yang diteliti adalah pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi dasar dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir setengahnya ibu berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 12 orang (46,1%), dan sebagian kecil berpengetahuan cukup sebanyak 6 orang (23,1%). Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan ibu lebih meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang imunisasi dasar pada bayi agar dapat memahami dan juga menerapkan atau mengikuti imunisasi dasar pada bayi sesuai jadwal untuk memberikan kekebalan pada bayi dan mencegah penyakit tertentu. Kata Kunci: Bayi, Imunisasi Dasar, Pengetahuan ibu ABSTRACT Immunization is an effort to boost immunity and also to prevents infectious disease. To overcome this problem there is an basic immunization program for infants and toddlers in completed. But the program is still experiencing problem because of rejection or opotition from the parents on giving this immunization due to the wrong assumption that developed in the community about immunization such as, low level of knowledge, and also poor awareness of immunization. The purpose of this study is to know the description of mothers knowledge about the basic immunization for infant in Polindes Sumberejo Poncokusumo District Malang. Descriptive design appliyed in this research. They are 26 respondent involved in this research. They are mother with infant aged between 9 mont until 2 years old with total sampling techniques. Data knowledge using questionnaire. The result showed that almost half of the mother with less knowledge was 12 people (46,1%), and a small enough knowledge was 6 people (23,1%). From the results of this study the mother or parents are expected to increase their knowledge about basic immunizations a base for infants in order to fully understand and also apply or follow the basic immunization in infants on schedule to provide immunity to infants and prevent certain diseases.
