Abstract
ABSTRAK Motivasi belajar adalah dorongan yang terdapat dalam diri seseorang untuk berusaha mengubah tingkah laku yang lebih baik dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan tujuan belajar.Motivasi wajib dimiliki oleh setiap anak.Masalah yang dirasakan sekarang banyak anak yang mengalami kesulitan belajar karena tidak ada motivasi dari orang tua.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan motivasi belajar anak yang ditinggal orang tuanya bekerja diluar negeri di SDN 3 Sitiarjo Kabupaten Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian deskriptif.Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas 3 sampai kelas 6 yang ditinggal orang tuanya bekerja di luar negeri. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 25 anak yang diambil dari kelas 3 sampai kelas 6. Variabel yang diteliti adalah motivasi belajar.Data penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan lembar kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir setengahnya mengalami motivasi rendah sebanyak 10 anak (40%) dan motivasi sedang sebanyak 7 anak (28%).Hal ini disebabkan oleh pengganti orang tua atau pengasuh saat di rumah. Melihat hasil penelitian ini maka perlu adanya motivasi dari orang tua pendamping saat dirumah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak. Kata kunci : Motivasi Belajar, Anak, Orang Tua Yang Bekerja Di Luar Negeri ABSTRACT Motivation to learn is the impetus in a person to try ro change the behavior better in meeting the needs and learning goals. Motivation must be owned by every child. The problem is felt now many children who have difficulty learning because there is no motivation from parents. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning motivation of children left by their parents working abroad at SDN 3 Sitiarjo Malang Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive research design. The population is all the students from grade 3 to grade 6 who left their parents working overseas. The sampling technique used is the total sampling with the number of samples of 25 children taken from grade 3 to grade 6. The variable studied is the motivation to learn. The data of this research is taken by using questionnaire. The result of the research shows that the motivation of studying children in the low category is 10 (40%), the motivation of the children in the moderate category is 7 (28%) and the learning motivation of the children in the high category is 8 (32%). This is caused by a substitute for a parent or caregiver at home. Seeing the results of this study then it is necessary to motivate the parents of assistants at home to improve motivation to learn children.
