Abstract

Ketika individu dinyatakan terinfeksi HIV,sebagian besar menunjukan perubahan karakter psikososial yaitu hidup stress,depresi,merasa kurangnya dukungan sosial dan perubahan prilaku.Masalah psikis orang dengan HIV/AIDS yaitu integritas ego dan respon psikologis.Mekanisme koping merupakan cara yang dilakukan individu dalam menyelesaikan masalah, menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan,serta respon terhadap situasi yang menganncam Koping yang efektif menempati tempat yang penting terhadap daya tahan tubuh penolakan tubuh terhadap gangguan maupun serangan suatu penyakit baik bersifat fisik maupun psikis,sosial,spiritual.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Gambaran Strstegi Koping pada Pengidap HIV/AIDS di Yayasan WPA Turen Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengidap HIV yang sebanyak 20 responden. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebagian dari pengidap HIV sebanyak 20 responden. Sampling yang digunakan adalah Acidental sampling sampling. Alat ukur menggunakan kuisioner. Analisa data menggunakan analisis univariat dan proses pengolahan data dengan menggunakan editing, coding,scoring,tabulating. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir seluruh pengidap HIV di yayasan WPA Turen menggunakan Strategi Coping Emotional Focus Copingdengan responden 16 (70%), sedangkan sebagaian kecil dengan responden 6 orang (30%) menggunakan strategi Problem Focus Coping. Strategi Koping yang digunakan pengidap HIV/AIDSadalah EFC ,diharapkan mampu untuk membantu menangani penderita HIV/AIDS dalam menghadapi problem yang timbul pada penderita HIV/AIDS ABSTRACT When individuals are declared HIV-infected, most of them show changes in their psychosocial character, namely living with stress, depression, feeling a lack of social support and changing behavior. The psychological problems of people with HIV / AIDS are ego integrity and psychological responses. Coping mechanisms are the way individuals take problem solving. , adapting to change, as well as responding to situations that threaten Effective coping occupies an important place in the body's resistance to resistance to disturbances and attacks of a disease, both physical and psychological, social, spiritual. People with HIV / AIDS at the WPA Turen Foundation The research design used is descriptive. The population in this study were all 20 people living with HIV. The sample used was 20 respondents with HIV. The sampling used was accidental sampling sampling. The measuring tool uses a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis and data processing using editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. The results showed that almost all people living with HIV at the WPA Turen foundation used the Emotional Focus Coping Strategy with 16 respondents (70%), while a small proportion of respondents with 6 people (30%) used the Problem Focus Coping strategy. The coping strategy used by people with HIV / AIDS is EFC, which is expected to be able to help deal with HIV / AIDS sufferers in dealing with problems that arise in HIV / AIDS sufferers.
