Abstract
ABSTRAK Pengelolaan sampah merupakan pengumpulan, pengangkutan, sampai dengan pemusnahan atau pengelolaan sampah sedemikian rupa cara yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kesehatan keluarga dan masyarakat salah satunya kesadaran masyarakat dalam membuang sampah tidak sesuai dengan tempat pembuangan dengan cara ditimbun, dibuang ke sungai, dibakar dan berbagai cara lainnya. Sampah berpengaruh pada kesehatan masyarakat karena dari sampah tersebut akan menyebabkan penyakit, maka dari itu kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat pada pengolahan sampah. Desain menggunakkan deksriptif. Populasi seluruh kepala keluarga di Dusun Sumber Pang Desa Sumber Suko berjumlah 84 Kepala Keluarga. Sampel sebagian kepala keluarga di Dusun Sumberpang Desa Sumber Suko berjumlah 69 Kepala Keluarga. Metode sampling purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan januari 2018 di Dusun Sumber Pang Desa Sumber Suko Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang. Variabel yang diteliti adalah pengetahuan keluarga tentang pengolahan sampah. Menggunakan lembar kuesioner . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan 69 responden hampir setengahnya berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 29 responden (42%) dan berpengetahuan cukup berjumlah 19 orang (28%). Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan responden lebih meningkatkan pemahaman keluarga dalam pengolahan sampah sebagai upaya keluarga menambah wawasan, meningkatan pengetahuan dalam pengolahan sampah sehingga dapat mendaur ulang sampah, memilah sampah, dan membuang sampah sesuai tempat pembuangan. Kata Kunci:pengetahuan, keluarga, pengolahan sampah. Trash affects the public health because of the waste will cause disease, therefore the lack of understanding of the community on waste processing. The design was uses descriptive. Population was of all head of household in Sumber Pang Village Sumber Suko Village is 84 Head of Family.Sample of part of head of family in Sumberpang Village Sumber Suko Village amount to 69 Head of Family. Sampling method of purposive sampling. The research was conducted in January 2018 in Sumber Pang Village Sumber Suko Village, Wagir District, Malang Regency.The variables studied are family knowledge about waste processing.Using sheets of questionnaires. The results showed that the level of knowledge of 69 respondents almost half of knowledge less as much as 29 respondents (42%) and knowledgeable enough amounted to 19 people (28%). From the results of this study is expected more respondents increase the understanding of families in waste processing as family efforts to increase insight, increased knowledge in waste processing so that it can recycle the waste, sorting waste, and dispose of waste according to landfill.
