Abstract
ABSTRAK Kecacingan adalah infeksi cacing parasit usus dari golongan Nematoda usus yang ditularkan melalui tanah, atau disebut Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH). Infeksi kecacingan dapat dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh ibu tentang kebersihan dan kesehatan yang merupakan salah satu cara menanggulangi kecacingan pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang kecacingan pada anak usia prasekolah di TK Kartika IX-44 Batalyon Kesehatan 2/2 Kostrad. Desain Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriftif. Populasi yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu dari orang tua anak prasekolah sejumlah 30 orang di TK Kartika IX-44 Batalyon Kesehatan 2/2 Kostrad. Teknik sampling menggunakan Total Sampling berjumlah 30 orang. Variabel yang diteliti adalah penegetahuan ibu tentang kecacingan. Instrumen yang di gunakan adalah lembar kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan pengetahuan ibu tentang kecacingan pada anak usia prasekolah di TK Kartika IX-44 Batalyon Kesehatan 2/2 Kostrad pada tanggal 13 Mei 2019 – 15 Mei 2019 hampir seluruhnya sabanyak 21 orang (70%) kriteria kurang, sebagian kecil 5 orang (16,7%) krtiteria cukup, sebagian kecil 4 orang (13,3%) memiliki kriteria baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pengetahuan ibu pada anak masih belum optinal terhadap pencegahan baik dari hhygieni pribadi pada anak yaitu dilihat dari kebiasaan mencuci tangan, memotong kuku, tidak jajan sembarangan di tempat yang kebersihannya kurang, memberikan obat cacing secaara teratur pada anak. Kata kunci: Pengetahuan ibu tentang kecacingan, anak usia prasekolah ABSTRACT Helminthiasis is an intestinal parasitic worm infection from the class of intensial nematodes that are transmitted soil, or called Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH). Helminthiasis infecsion can be influenced by mother’s upbringing about hygiene and health which is one way to cope with helminthiasis in childern. Therefore parents must have knowledge about helminthiasis in children so as not to inhibit child development. This study aims to determine the description of maternal knowledge about helminthiasis in preschoolers at TK Kartika IX-44 Health Battalion 2/2 Kostrad. The design of this study uses descriptive. The population used in this study was the mother of a preschooler’s parents of 30 people at TK Kartika IX-44 Health Battalion 2/2 Kostrad. Sampling technique using total sampling amuonted to 30 people. The veriables studied were maternal knowledge about worms. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. The results of this study indicate maternal knowlodge of helminthiasis in preschoolers at TK Kartika IX-44 Health Battalion 2/2 Kostrad on May 13, 2019 – May 15, 2019 almost all of the 21 (70%) criteria were lacking, a small percentage of 5 people (16,7%) enough criteria, a small portion of 4 people (13,3%) had good criteria. Based on the result of this study, it is known that meternal knowledge in shildern is still not optimal against prevention both from personal hygine in children, which is seen from the habit of washing hands, cut nail, do not snack carelessly in places that are less clean, give worm medicine regularly to children.
