Abstract

ABSTRAK Konsep diri adalah gambaran yang di miliki seseorang tentang dirinya yang di bentuk melalui pengalaman yang di peroleh dari interaksi dengan lingkungan. Bahwa terdapat dampak negatif Panti Asuhan terhadap kepribadian remaja. Karena remaja tidak dapat menemukan lingkungan pengganti keluarga yang benar-benar dapat menggantikan fungsi keluarga. Oleh karena itu, konsep diri pada remaja sangatlah penting untuk menjadikan kehidupan menjadi bermakna. Tujuan penelitian ini mampu mengetahui konsep diri pada remaja Usia 10-19 tahun. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh remaja dipanti Asuhan Diponegoro Lawang. Teknik samplingnya adalah total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden, pada bulan Februari 2019. Variabel yang diteliti adalah konsep diri pada remaja usia 10-19 tahun. Data ini diambil meggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsep diri pada remaja di Panti Asuhan Pangeran Diponegoro Lawang Kabupaten Malang konsep diri positif hampir seluruhnya yaitu sebanyak 27 remaja (90%), kemudian untuk sebagian kecil konsep diri negatif yaitu sebanyak 3 remaja (10%). Adapun remaja konsep diri yang negatif karena remaja tersebut cendrung berfikir dengan cara yang negatif, sehingga melemahkan daya juangnya untuk menghadapi kehidupan.. Oleh karena itu remaja yang tinggal di Panti Asuhan bisa menemukan lingkungan yang menggantikan fungsi keluarga untuk menjadikan kehidupan yang bermakna. Self-concept is a representation of someone that created by the experience, it is obtained from interaction of the environment. There is a negative impact of orphanage into adolescent’s personality. Because adolescents can not find the alternate enviroment of family. So that self-concept of adolescents is very important to change life to be more meaningful. The purpuse of this study was to know the salf concept of adolescents at 10-19 years old. This research of this study used descrptive. The population were all teenagers in the Diponegoro Lawang orphanage. The sampling technique was total sampling wich contain of 30 respondents in the Fabruary 2019. The variabel of this study was the salf concept of adolescents at 10-19 years old. The data collected by questionnaire The results of the study showed that the self concept of adolescents in Diponegoro Lawang Orphanage Malang district had self concept which almost of all were positive, as manyas 27 adolescents (90%), then for small percentage had negative self-concepts, as many as 3 adolescents (10%). As teenagers self-concept is negative because they tend to think in a negative way, thus weakening their ability to cope with life. Therefore teenagers who live in orphanage can find an environment that replaces family function to make a meaningful life.. Keywords: self-concept, adolescent, orphanag.
