Abstract
ABSTRAK Peran orang tua adalah pola tingkah laku dari ayah dan ibu berupa tanggung jawab untuk mendidik, mengasuh dan membimbing anak-anaknya untuk mencapai tahapan tertentu yang menghantarkan anak untuk siap dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Anak usia prasekolah sangat membutuhkan peran orangtua untuk mengerti definisi seks secara layak, karena anak masih belum bisa selektif pada setiap informasi yang didapat. Pendidikan seks memiliki kurangnya perhatian orang tua sehingga mereka menyerahkan semua pendidikan, termasuk pendidikan seks di sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran peran orang tua dalam pendidikan seksual pada anak prasekolah di Paud Permata Kasih Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Besar sampel 38 responden. Variabel penelitian ini adalah peran orang tua tentang pendidikan seksual pada anak prasekolah yang diukur menggunakan kuisioner. Penyajian hasil penelitian dengan pengolahan data yaitu editing, coding, scoring, tabulating untuk menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peran orangtua dalam pendidikan seksual didapatkan setengah responden memiliki peran yang baik dalam pendidikan seks dengan jumlah 10 responden (50%) dan sebagian kecil memiliki peran yang kurang dalam pendidikan seks dengan jumlah 4 responden (20%). Peran orangtua dalam pendidikan seksual yang baik pada anak usia pra sekolah sangat diperlukan, sehingga diharapkan penelitian ini dapat membantu orang tua memperoleh informasi mengenai konsep pendidikan seksual untuk anak pra sekolah dan mengetahui informasi mengenai strategi orang tua dalam memberikan pendidikan seksual anak usia pra sekolah. ABSTRACT The role of parents is a pattern of behavior from father and mother in the form of responsibility to educate, nurture and guide his children to achieve certain stages that deliver children to be ready in community life (Sari, 2017). Preschool-age children desperately need a parent's role to understand proper sex definition, because the child can not be selective in any information obtained (Novianti, 2013). Sex education has a lack of attention to parents so they submit all education, including sex education in school. The purpose of this study is to identify the idea of parental role knowledge in sexual education in preschool children in Paud Permata Kasih Malang. This research uses descriptive design. Sampling technique with purposive sampling method. Large sample of 38 respondents. This research variable is a parent's role of sexual education in preschoolers who are measured using a questionnaire. Presentation of research with data processing i.e. editing, coding, scoring, tabulating to draw conclusions. The results showed parents ' role in sexual education were obtained half of the respondents had a good role in sex education with a total of 10 respondents (50%) And a small part had a lack of role in sex education with a total of 4 respondents (20%). The role of parents in good sexual education in pre-school children is indispensable, so hopefully this research can help parents get information on the concept of sexual education for pre-school children and know the information Regarding the strategies of parents in giving sexual education of pre-school childhood.
