Abstract
ABSTRAK Anak usia toddler pada tahap perkembangan psikoseksual dimana kemampuan sfingter uretra dan sfingter anal mulai berkembang maka diperlukan toilet training. Keberhasilan pelaksanaan toilet training salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh faktor pengetahuan ibu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan ibu dengan pelaksanaan toilet training pada anak usia toddler di PAUD Bina Insani Dampit. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian korelatif dengan pendekatan crossectional. Populasi penelitian 32 siswa kelas PAUD Bina Insani dampit. Metode sampling yaitu purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 27 responden. Penelitian dilakukan tanggal 25 Januari 2019 di PAUD Bina Insani Dampit. Variabel penelitian ini adalah tingkat pengetahuan ibu dan pelaksanaan toilet training. Data penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Setelah ditabulasi data yang ada dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan ibu hampir setengahnya yaitu 12 orang (44%) kategori cukup, dan sebagian kecil yaitu 6 orang (22%) kategori kurang. Pada pelaksanaan toilet training hampir seluruhnya yaitu 23 orang (85%) kategori baik dan sebagian kecil yaitu 4 orang (15%) kategori cukup. Hasil pengujian statistik p – value 0,332 (P > 0,05) menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuan ibu dengan pelaksanaan toilet training. Dari hasil penelitian ini pengetahuan bukan satu satunya faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pelaksanaan tolet training, maka diharapkan kesiapan fisik anak, kemangatan usia ibu dan pengalaman ibu pada anak sebelumnya membuat pelaksanaan toilet training lebih baik. The successful implementation of toilet training is influenced by factor of the mother’s knowledge. The purpose of this study was to find out the level of mother’s knowledge with implementation toilet training in early childhood toddler PAUD Bina Insani Dampit. The study design used correlative study design with cross sectional approach. The study population were 32 students PAUD Bina Insani Dampit early childhood classroom. The sampling method was purposive sampling with a sample of 27 respondents. The study was conducted on January 25, 2019 at PAUD Bina Insani Dampit. Variabel of the research were the level of mother’s knowledge and the implementation of toilet training. The research data was taken using a questionnaire. After the tabulated data were analyzed using Spearman Rank test. The results of the study show that the level of mother’s knowledge is almost half who is 12 people (44%) moderate category, and a small portion that was 6 people (22%) deficient category. On the implementation of toilet training is almost entirely that 23 people (85%) either category and small portion is 4 people (15%) moderate category. Statistical tests p – value of 0,332 (P> 0,05) indicates that there was no relationship with the mother’s level of knowledge of the implementation of toilet training. From this research knowledge is not the only factor that affect the successful implementation of toilet training, it is expected that the child’s physical readiness, maturity maternal age and previous experience in childern’s mother made a better implementation of toilet training.
