Abstract
ABSTRAK Salah satu akibat dari tidak diberikannya ASI-Eksklusif adalah Stunting. Stunting adalah masalah kurang gizi kronis yang disebabkan oleh asupan gizi yang kurang dalam waktu cukup lama akibat pemberian makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara pemberian ASI-Eksklusif dengan kejadian Stunting pada batita usia 1-3 tahun. Metode penelitian menggunakan analitik dan desain penelitian menggunakan Cross Sectional. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tehnik Clauster Random Sampling. Jumlah populasi yang ada yaitu 84 responden. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa Pemberian ASI-Eksklusif pada batita usia 1-3 bahwa setengahnya mengalami Stunting sebanyak 37 responden (50%) dengan kategori ASI-Ekslusif sebanyak 8 responden (10,81%) dan kategori tidak ASI-Ekslusif sebanyak 29 responden (39,1%). Dan setengahnya tidak Stunting sebanyak 37 responden (50%) dengan kategori ASI-Ekslusif sebanyak 29 responden (39,1%) dan kategori tidak ASI-Ekslusif sebanyak 8 responden (10,81%).Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis uji statistik Chi Square dengan batas kemaknaan α = 0,05. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai p value 0,00. Karena nilai p value (0,000) < (0,05), maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan antara Pemberian ASI-Eksklusif dengan kejadian Stunting pada batita usia 1-3 tahun di Wilayah Puskesmas Sumbermanjing Kulon Kecamatan Pagak Kabupaten Malang. Diharapkan bagi masyarakat terutama ibu agar memberikan ASI-Eksklusif sampai usia 6 bulan pertama, sehingga dapat meminimalisir kejadian Stunting. Stunting is a problem of chronic malnutrition caused by insufficient nutrition in a long time due to feeding that is not in accordance with nutritional needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between giving Exclusive Breastfeeding to the incidence of Stunting in toddlers aged 1-3 years. The research method uses analytical and research design using Cross Sectional. Sampling in this study uses purposive sampling technique. The total population is 84 respondents. The results showed that giving exclusive breastfeeding to toddlers aged 1-3 years was 8 respondents (10,81%) and those not given exclusive breastfeeding as many as 29 respondents (39,1%). Stunting occurrences of stunting were 37 respondents (50%) and no Stunting were 37 respondents (50%). In this study using Chi Square statistical test analysis with a significance limit of α = 0.05. The statistical test results obtained p value 0.000. Because the value of p value (0.000) <(0.05), then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between giving ASI-Exclusive to the incidence of Stunting in toddlers aged 1-3 years in the Sumbermanjing Kulon Health Center, Pagak District, Malang Regency. It is expected that the community, especially mothers, will only give Exclusive until to 6 moonth to minimize the incidence of Stunting. Keywords: toddlers, stunting, exclusive breastfeeding
