Abstract
ABSTRAK Gangguan jiwa adalah proses proses interaksi yang komplek antara faktor genetik , faktor organo biologis,faktor psikologis serta faktor sosiokultural. Keluarga berperan dalam menentukan cara atau asuhan yang diperlukan penderita di rumah. Oleh karena itu peran keluarga sangat diperlukan untuk perawatan klien dengan gangguan jiwa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan peran keluarga dalam merawat anggota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa di desa Bantur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasinya adalah semua anggota keluarga yang mempunyai anggota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa di desa Bantur sebanyak 42 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan proposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 24 responden, instumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, penglolahan dan analisa data meliputi coding, scoring, tabulasi, dan univariat, dilaksanakan pada bulan maret dengan variabel peran keluarga dalam merawat anngota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar peran keluarga kurang berperan dalam merawat anggota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa sebanyak 18 orang (75,0%). Hal ini dimungkinkan karena pengetahuan,jenis kelamin,pendidikan,pekerjaan,status pernikahan. Melihat hasil penelitian ini keluarga harus meningkatkan peran dalam merawat keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa agar tidak terjadi ke kambuhan berulang. Kata kunci: Peran keluarga, merawat, gangguan jiwa ABTRACT Mental disorder is a complex process of interaction between genetic factors, organo factors, biological, psychological factors and sociocultural factors. The family plays a role in determining the way or care needed by the patient at home. Therefore the role of the family is necessary for the care of clients with mental disorders. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of families in caring for family members with mental disorders in the Bantur village. The method used in this research is descriptive. The population is all family members who have family members with mental disorders in Bantur village as many as 24 respondents. The sampling technique used was proposive sampling with the number of samples counted 24 respondents. The data collection instrument uses thew co-ordinator,data menagement and data analysis include codig, scoring and univariate. The result of this research shows that most of family have less role in taking care of family member with mental disorder as much as 18 person (75,0%).This is possible because of knowledge,gender,education,wrok,marital status. Looking at the results of this study the family should increase the role in caring for families with mental disorders in order not to occur to recurrent recurrence.
