Abstract

Kata kunci: kolesterol, stroke berulang ABSTRACT Cholesterol levels with recurrent strokes in the community often occur, there are many factors that can occur due to very high cholesterol levels such as recurrent stroke risk, if this would be very dangerous if not done quickly, therefore it is a high blood relationship with recurrent stroke introduced The method used in this study is Cross Sectional for the population taken in the unit stroke dr. Soepraoen Malang in January 2018 a number of 79 respondents. This study uses statistical test Contingency Coefficient, sampling technique used in this study is Consecutive Sampling with the number of 30 respondents included in the criteria, the data in this study was taken using the observation sheet. The results showed most respondents with high cholesterol level as much as 83% and normal cholesterol level as much as 17% for respondents who experienced repeated stroke as much as 80% and a small part did not have repeat stroke as much as 20%. With a significance level of 0.0140 (p <0.05) which means there is a relationship between cholesterol levels with recurrent stroke and obtained the value of correlation coefficient of 0.408 which means the relationship between the two variables are. With the results of this study it is necessary deberi information about the relationship of cholesterol levels to recurrent incident stroke Keywords: cholesterol, recurrent stroke
